The History

The origins of Dien Chan Facial Reflexology are traced to Vietnamese tradition and the work of Professor Bùi Quôc Châu. Dien Chan Zone® represents an approved adaptation over 20 years through study, practice and experimentation by the International Academy of Italian Facial Reflexology (A.I.R.F.I) co-founded by Beatrice Moricoli and Vittorio Bergagnini. ‘We live our work every day, with true respect and admiration for all that it offers.’

The Treatment

In Facial Reflexology, the face is a microcosm of the body (physical, emotional and spiritual) connecting reflex points and zones via the nervous system. Put simply, stimulation of points and reflexes with a ‘detector’ tool sends a message from the exterior to the interior encouraging the body to return to energetic balance. Dien Chan Zone® Facial Reflexology is incredibly relaxing, which is an important facet of any Reflexology treatment because it allows the body respite to access its own innate intelligence and to begin healing.

As a fully qualified Foot Reflexologist of 10 years we can work with Dien Chan Zone® alone or in combination with Foot Reflexology treatments. Receiver feedback (in DCZ® clients are called receivers to honour the energetic exchange) has shown Dien Chan Zone® Facial Reflexology to be very beneficial for anxiety, stress, insomnia, muscular skeletal tension and it has many other applications.

I also recommend DCZ® Facial Reflexology for supporting menstrual and reproductive wellness.

Wellbeing In Your Hands

Steer your own wellbeing autonomously with Dien Chan Zone® self-care at home. After treatment I will personalise a bespoke map best suited to your current concerns. It is advised to work the zones and reflexes outlined in your treatment plan for 21 days, breaking for 7 days.

At this point we can review your progress with a clinic treatment and decide whether to adjust your self-care map moving forward. In person treatments my be advised more frequently than once a month in relation to how acute or longstanding issues are. I follow Professor Châu’s motto ‘Tuj’, which translated from Vietnamese language means ‘it depends’.

It is not unusual to see symptoms ebb and flow as multi-layered healing occurs necessitating a change in map and focus. With DCZ you have the freedom to learn how to intuitively and seamlessly work with messages from your body to release imbalance whilst utilising this powerful self-care therapy as a means of prevention. Overall, with DCZ® you will come to feel a liberating sense of empowerment enjoying a technique that literally lies within your hands.
